CCJ’s annual Student Conference brings together students from universities across the country to share interfaith experience, tips and plans for the year ahead. Over the course of two days students are equipped with the skills they need to become confident interfaith leaders at their universities and beyond.

2017 Student Conference:

This year’s conference took place 5th-6th September in Leicester. Over two days the students explored own leadership style when dealing with conflict, discussed difficult issues they have faced on campus and shared ideas of how to create successful interfaith events. We were pleased to be joined by Angharad Thain, Programme Manager at LSE Faith Centre who led our leadership training, 2016/7 Student Leader Hannah Kaufman who offered advice from her year, and Guest Speaker Rabbi Roni Tabick, Rabbi at New Stoke Newington Shul who spoke on ‘Two religions divided by a common scripture’.

CCJ Student Leaders are now planning interfaith projects at their universities in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Durham, Liverpool, St Andrews and Sussex.

2016 Student Conference:

Our 2016 Student Conference took place 12th-13th September in Derbyshire and was attended by students from eight universities. More details about the 2016 conference can be found here.
