The Council of Christians and Jews (CCJ) is deeply saddened by the killing of three Israelis in Har Adar yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims as well as with those who were injured or left traumatised by the attack. Violence and terror like that seen in Har Adar are barriers to longed for peace, security, and dignity for Palestinians and Israelis.  It is only through dialogue and openness to difference, especially in grassroots initiatives such as Women Wage Peace, that this vision can begin to be realised.
