North London branch of CCJ held its AGM on the afternoon of Sunday October 7th 2018 at Clapton Methodist Church. Our audience of some 30 people included members of the branch, visitors from local churches as well as local councilors including the Speaker of Hackney. After the relatively informal AGM we were addressed by the Rev. Patrick Moriarty, Head teacher of the Jewish Community Secondary School. He spoke to us about life as an ordained Anglican minister who is also the head teacher of a Jewish school. His lively and enjoyable address was followed by a thoughtful question and answer session and then refreshments.
