We meet monthly, usually in Bristol University’s MultiFaith Chaplaincy. Recent topics have included: Hassids and Ranters; is the Christmas Story Anti Semitic?; the work of Sabra, a charity in north Israel which assists Jews from other countries, mainly Russia (FSU) who arrive in Israel with nothing; the effects of the holocaust in Jewish-Christian Relations; the role of the family: compare and contrast Judaism and Christianity; sin and how to deal with it; what does the word/concept ‘faith’ mean to you? ‘What’s your Christian name?’ Should Jews go along with assumptions?

We have also held a Passover Seder demonstration, a packed meeting in which Rabbi Mark Solomon demonstrated and explained the work of a hazzan and our annual Advent/Hannukah social evening.
