The Murder of Drummer Lee Rigby
The Chairman of the Council of Christians and Jews, Rt Revd Nigel McCulloch, has written to the Co-Chairs of the Christian Muslim Forum in the wake of the Woolwich attack. He expressed the CCJ’s horror and offered the support of the CCJ, Britain’s oldest national Interfaith organization for the CMF at this time of heightened tension, anxiety and reprisals. Bishop Nigel commented:
“We in CCJ know only too well of the horrors of racist aggression and prejudice. For seventy years we have addressed and continue to address racism and antisemitism in the UK. Please know we stand by you as you bring the two communities together".
