The Library at the Council of Christians and Jews was dedicated as the Irène Rachel Lass Memorial Library for Jewish-Christian Dialogue in February 2010. The library is a substantial and unique collection of almost 3000 individual titles and resources: the central motif of the library is Jewish-Christian Dialogue. The library is also a repository for the Canon John Hester Collection.
The CCJ library has books on Jewish-Christian relations, Antisemitism, the Holocaust, Islam, Nazism, Christianity, Judaism, Biblical Studies, Israel and Children's Education.
For more information about access to the library, please contact us. A flyer
advertising the library is also available
to download. Copies of this flyer are also available on request from CCJ.
The Council of Christians and Jews has written a comprehensive but not exhaustive policy of use for the Library.
At the Council of Christians and Jews, we appreciate that our Library is a valuable academic resource. For £10 donation a year for an individual, and £50 donation a year for an institution subscription, CCJ is offering access to the library and library database, a photocopying allowance and wi-fi.
